wow from the past
Comments(0)So went looking at waaf’s website today after writing that last post. Seems they allow streaming agian. I remember that was one of the only things that kept me sane when i was in alaska.
The sad state of morning radio
Comments(0)Ok, I have to say that i hated howard stern. I was so looking forward to when he moved to satalite radio because i would not have to hear about how he wants to fuck this person or that for 5 hours during the morning. I don’t get how we got to the point where radio was all about talk. I am sorry but radio to me has been about hearing new music or atleast hearing new versions of the same music i enjoy on my Ipod. Don’t get me wrong i do enjoy some DJ’s and thier controversal talking. But come one, throw some music in there. Maybe it was because i grew up with 107.3 in boston with greg hill. He would talk and make fun etc… but he also played some kick ass music.
Isn’t the acronym DJ actually “Disc Jockey”? When did stop jockeying discs?
On to this past week i have been listening to sebastion in the morning on wccc here in hartford and i have to say: Listening to some old guy talk how he wants to kill himself or how everyone should be gambling thier savings on football, horses, or any other stupid sport is really starting to piss me the fuck off. Yes i am sure you are saying “just throw on a cd and chill”.

Ok Java is annoying sometimes
Comments(0)So i am in a Java class and am enjoying it in general. Problem comes in where i can compile many different types of programs on my PC but when i use the command
Thread.sleep(5000);
I keep getting an exception when i compile. This goes on for about the last 3 days and i am pulling my hair out because it is pretty simple generally. So in a stupid frustration move i put it on my MAC and boom, compiles. I bring it back to my pc and it still does not compile. Try it on another pc and it compiles.
I can compile every other piece of code on my desktop but this. WTF!!!!!!
Alaskan Jumbo King Crab…..that’s right….fing Jumbo….
So for Christmas my awesome boss from AK decided to get my 10 pounds of alaskan Jumbo king crab. I do enjoy sea food but never really had crab before. Since mand and I love lobster we could not wait to try it and see.
First off look at this:

Yea those are huge.
Anyways we invited J and C over for dinner and attempted to cook crab.:) We actually tried two ways, broiling and boiling. Both came out well, the broiling kept the taste more but it was a little drier. On the other hand the boiled was moist and good. Allen mentioned steaming. That sounds like the way we are going to try next. Now to find a pot large enough to have boiling water in and still not have it be in the water.

So i hate mornings, especially when i get no sleep from consulting all night. As it so happened that is what happened last night. And what does my beautiful wife do this morning? Wakes up, goes to run, then proceeded to attack me with such zest and life that all i could do was growl. I hate mornings:)
